About the Artist

BRANDON ADAY  has had a life long love of art, inspired from an early age by his Mother who is also an Artist. The first book he remembers reading as a child was his mother’s “Gardner's Art Through the Ages” college textbook, which gave him a great foundation in the humanities at an early age. The earliest painting he recalls making was around 4-5 years of age, creating watercolor abstracts with a straw, under the watchful eye of his mother!

Like many other elementary and middle school aged boys, he discovered comic books and wanted to become a comic book penciller and illustrator. While this never happened, he continued to enjoy drawing & painting through high school and even into his first two years of college at the Art Institute, where he studied web & multimedia design.

While professionally he focused primarily on various aspects of digital marketing over the years, he never lost his love of ART.

His interest in drawing was rekindled after the birth of his first two sons, whom he would draw cartoons & comic illustrations for (a lot of Pokémon). He eventually began getting more interested in playing with different media, experimenting with acrylic, water color, pastels, colored pencils and eventually oil painting.

While having many years of experience being creative as a hobby, he recently decided to turn his life long passion into something more serious. Now in the early stages of his art career, he hopes to share his unique perspective on the world through his artistic endeavors!
